The NV25080 is an EEPROM serial 8-Kb SPI - Automotive Grade 0 (+150°C) device internally organized as 1Kx8 bits. It has a 32-byte write buffer and supports the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) protocol. The device is enabled through the chip (CS) input. Also, the must-have bus signals are the clock input (SCK), data input (SI) and data output (SO) lines. The HOLD input can be used to suspend any serial communication with NV25xxx devices. The device features hardware and software write protection, including partial protection and full array protection. On-chip ECC (Error Correction Code) at the byte level makes the device suitable for high-reliability applications. The device provides an additional identification page, which can be permanently write-protected.
